Before moving on
Here are several tips to follow in order to make sure the situation does not become worse:
- Never file charge back requests or payment-related complaints. This is the safest way to be sure the bookmaker will permanently block your account and forfeit any winnings or balance. And in this day and age you risk being blacklisted on all betting websites, that means nor you nor any member of your family may ever access gambling websites in the future. You do not want to do that.
- Sometimes things go wrong. Never complain publicly about your unpleasant experience on forums, blogs, public websites. This is a serious offence to any bookmaker and your position will become much more fragile if you are caught doing so.
- Make sure you contact the bookmaker, explain the situation, your position, your expectations. Keep it short, simple and clear.
- Do not spam. If you have a problem you want resolved and you have contacted the bookmaker in regards to that, give them a few business days to analyze your situation and respond. Flooding their CRM or support e-mail with messages will not help, on the contrary.
- Be reasonable, fair and civilized. Bookmaking is a tough business, don't make it any more difficult for the business owners than it is already.
